1. Services

Editorial Backlinks provides campaign strategy, expert positioning, opportunity research, response writing, media pitching, contributed-content coordination, publisher-opportunity review and live-result reporting as described in the accepted proposal.

2. Client responsibilities

The client must provide accurate business information, spokesperson credentials, target pages, examples and approvals. The client must not request fabricated experience, undisclosed paid links, deceptive destination pages or exact-match anchor manipulation.

3. Editorial and publisher control

Journalists, editors and publishers control acceptance, editing, timing, attribution, link placement, link attributes and future changes. Earned coverage and named publications are not guaranteed. Commercial publisher opportunities are handled separately and disclosed in the proposal.

4. Approval and payment

Standard approval-first work becomes billable when the agreed deliverable is live or otherwise completed and meets the written criteria. Custom research, retainers, content production or agency engagements may use milestones stated in the proposal. Invoices are due within the period shown on the invoice.

5. Cancellation

A client may cancel before work begins without a service charge. After research, writing, asset creation or outreach has started, completed custom work and committed third-party costs may be payable. A compliant deliverable already approved is not cancellable merely because preferences later change.

6. Review, refunds and replacements

Objective delivery issues must be reported within seven calendar days. Qualifying publisher removals are reviewed for 90 calendar days from approval unless a different period is written in the proposal. When a qualifying issue cannot be corrected or replaced within the agreed resolution period, the affected deliverable may be refunded.

7. Intellectual property and accuracy

The client confirms it has the right to provide all supplied information and materials. The named spokesperson remains responsible for factual accuracy. Publisher edits and independently created publisher content remain subject to the publisher’s rights and terms.

8. No outcome guarantee

No ranking, traffic, lead, revenue, referral, brand-mention, AI-citation or permanent-publication outcome is guaranteed. Search and business performance depend on factors outside the service provider’s control.

9. Confidentiality and agency relationships

Reasonable confidentiality and white-label requirements can be recorded in the proposal. Editorial Backlinks will not knowingly solicit an agency’s disclosed client for competing services during the engagement or for 12 months afterward unless the agency authorizes contact.

10. Disputes

A party should send a written notice describing the issue and requested resolution. Both parties will attempt good-faith negotiation for 30 days before starting formal proceedings. The governing law and forum are those stated in the accepted proposal or invoice.
