Everything you should know before starting outreach.
Clear, practical answers about campaign fit, editorial selection, reporting, payment privacy and placement protection—without vague promises.
Getting started
Campaign scope, suitability and first steps.
What services do you provide?
We support journalist outreach, expert-source pitching, HARO, Qwoted and Featured campaigns, vetted editorial placements, and white-label fulfilment for SEO and content agencies.
The recommended channel depends on your niche, expert credentials, target pages and desired campaign pace.
Can I start with one placement?
Yes. A single-placement trial may be available, subject to niche, target-page and publisher requirements. It is designed for clients who prefer to test the workflow before committing to a larger campaign.
What information do you need from me?
Normally we need your website, target pages, niche, preferred campaign type, restricted topics or domains, and the name and credentials of any spokesperson who will be pitched as an expert.
Placements and quality
What can be agreed and what remains editorially controlled.
Do you guarantee a particular publication?
A particular publication is guaranteed only when that exact placement has been confirmed in writing. Journalist-led campaigns depend on editorial selection, so an outlet, publication date, anchor text or link attribute should not be assumed unless it is part of the written offer.
What quality criteria can be agreed?
Depending on the campaign, criteria may include:
- Topical relevance and acceptable publication categories
- Minimum authority or traffic ranges
- Target page and approved destination URLs
- Restricted domains, competitors or sensitive topics
- New placement versus existing-article insertion
Are all links dofollow and permanent?
No. Link attributes and long-term availability are controlled by the publisher. Where an attribute or placement condition is material, it must be included in the written campaign criteria before payment.
Are case studies available?
Yes. Detailed case studies are available on request because some work is confidential or completed on a white-label basis. Public secured-link examples can be viewed on the Links Secured page.
Delivery and reporting
Timelines, communication and campaign visibility.
How long does outreach take?
Timelines vary by niche, expert availability, editorial calendars and campaign type. The expected delivery window is stated in your proposal. Journalist-led opportunities are less predictable than pre-vetted editorial placements.
What reporting will I receive?
Reporting normally includes the publication, live article URL, target URL, publication date, campaign channel and relevant quality or delivery notes. Agency reporting can be supplied without Editorial Backlinks branding.
Will I receive campaign updates?
Yes. The update schedule is agreed at the start of the campaign. Larger or recurring campaigns can include shared tracking sheets and scheduled progress summaries.
Payment and placement protection
Private payment handling and objective review terms.
How are payments handled?
Available methods are stated on your invoice. Secure payment details are shared privately after the order and invoice are confirmed; account information is not displayed publicly on the website.
What happens if a placement does not meet the agreed criteria?
We compare it with the objective criteria agreed before payment. If it is non-compliant and reported within the stated review window, it may be corrected or replaced. When a compliant replacement cannot be delivered, the affected placement may be refunded according to the applicable campaign terms.
Can I receive a refund simply because I changed my mind?
A compliant placement is not automatically refundable because of a change of preference after delivery. Refund and replacement decisions are based on the written scope, delivery status and the Refund & Replacement Policy.
Are rankings, traffic or sales guaranteed?
No. Editorial links can support authority and discoverability, but rankings, traffic, leads and revenue depend on technical SEO, content quality, competition, algorithms and other factors outside an outreach provider’s control.
Agencies and confidentiality
White-label fulfilment and protection of client relationships.
Do you work with SEO and content agencies?
Yes. White-label fulfilment, unbranded reporting, multi-client management and custom quality criteria are available through an agency proposal.
Will you contact my client directly?
No direct client contact takes place unless it has been expressly authorized in writing. Communication boundaries and reporting responsibilities are agreed before fulfilment begins.
Can you work under a confidentiality agreement?
Reasonable confidentiality requirements can be reviewed during onboarding. Campaign details and case studies are not published without the appropriate permission.
A clearer way to buy outreach.
The campaign is defined before delivery starts, so both sides know what counts as a suitable placement and how it will be reported.
Still deciding which campaign fits?
Share your website, niche and preferred target pages. We will recommend a suitable starting point without exposing payment details publicly.
